Historian Altynbek Kumyrzakuly stated that the book "Awake, Kazakh" by Mirzhakip Dulatuly, a figure of Alash, national leader, had a direct impact on Turkish and Japanese society. Japanese and Turkish intellectuals who read "Awaken, Kazakh" wrote critical works such as "Awaken, Turkish" and "Awaken, Japanese".
