President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov to develop specific measures by the end of this week to streamline the implementation process of the Government’s economic reform program, taking into account the interests of citizens. This was reported by the President’s press secretary, Ruslan Zheldibay, according to Adyrna.
The Government has been tasked with introducing adjustments and making necessary decisions aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses, improving the investment climate, and stabilizing the country’s economic situation.
“The Head of State believes that the main parameters of the Government’s economic policy align with Kazakhstan’s strategic interests and also take into account global market conditions and current economic trends,” the statement said.
