Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has appointed his eldest daughter, Saida Mirziyoyeva, as the head of the Presidential Administration, according to Adyrna.

This position had been abolished in 2023 but has now been officially reinstated. Over the past two years, Saida Mirziyoyeva served as a presidential aide and was actively involved in the governance process. She also worked to represent Uzbekistan on the international stage. Within the last year, she visited several countries and held meetings with heads of state, including the President of Kazakhstan.

Political analysts have increasingly referred to Saida Mirziyoyeva as a potential

successor to her father. Her appointment to such a high-ranking position has further strengthened this speculation.

Saida Mirziyoyeva is 40 years old. She holds a PhD in economics and has extensive experience in information policy and public communications. Previously, she held leadership roles in structures responsible for communication between the government and society.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev has been serving as the President of Uzbekistan since 2016, succeeding Islam Karimov. Following constitutional amendments in 2023, his presidential terms were reset, allowing him to remain in power potentially until 2037.
