Kassym-Zhomart Tokaev focused on the activities of law enforcement officers.
"The work of police officers is not easy. There are often times when we work day and night. There are also dangers. It takes a lot of hard work and endurance to stay fit 24 hours a day. Because people who are in a difficult situation, first of all, expect help from the police. Our citizens see you as a representative of the state, that is, the government. It is believed to protect against danger. Therefore, you always have a huge responsibility," he said.
The President also noted that many Kazakhstanis are being deceived by fraudsters.
"I would like to touch on another issue that is relevant in society today. Now, many of our citizens are being deceived by fraudsters. Therefore, law enforcement agencies must fight against fraudsters. No discount should be given to them. Because the people are suffering from the actions of fraudsters.
For example, recently a travel company deceived a group of law-abiding citizens and sent them on a pilgrimage. Now, innocent people are forced to sit in detention in the police station of Saudi Arabia. The illegal actions of such fraudulent company are causing great damage to the health of our citizens, their moral condition and the reputation of the country as a whole. Here, of course, there is legal illiteracy of people.
Now, our state, that is, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, should help them as much as possible. And the Ministry of Internal Affairs should prosecute the management and employees of the fraudulent company in accordance with the law. If we want to create a just society, we need to solve such urgent problems," said Tokayev.
