Today, Kazakhstan celebrates Rescuers’ Day, reports the “Adyrna” national portal.
In Kazakhstan, Rescuers’ Day has been officially observed since 2008. This date was chosen because exactly 29 years ago, the State Committee for Emergency Situations was established. The agency’s work is aimed at preventing emergencies and eliminating their consequences.
The holiday is dedicated to the employees of the country’s civil defense, firefighting, and water rescue services. Their work requires a high level of professionalism, responsibility, and integrity. Saving lives is a noble and dangerous duty, deserving of respect and gratitude.
