A bronze mirror was found in Altyntau IX cemetery in Akmola region

On the occasion of the "800th anniversary of the Great Zoshi" and the Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Department of Culture of Akmola region conducted an archaeological excavation from August 19 to August 23, 2024.

"As a result of archaeological excavations, a hanging bronze mirror worn around the neck was found in Altyntau IX cemetery belonging to the middle ages, located in the southeast of the village of Vasilkovka, Zerendi district, along the Shagalaly river," said the culture department of Akmola region.
