The head of the Department of Tax and Customs Policy of the Ministry of National Economy spoke about the cars subject to the luxury tax, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
According to Yerlan Sagnaev, the list of taxed luxury cars includes Rolls-Royce, the latest Mercedes and premium class Lexus.
"We have set a threshold customs value for passenger cars with a value of more than 75 millions tenge. If the customs value of the car exceeds this limit, it will be subject to an additional 10 percent excise tax.
