The Rixos Borovoe hotel owned by billionaire Bolat Utemuratov was fined for the mass poisoning of people, the national portal "Adyrna" reported with reference to KazTag.
As it is known, on September 8, 2023, in the Burabay resort, 21 employees of the Rixos hotel were diagnosed with a bacterial intestinal infection. Nine employees were taken to Kokshetau hospital. Then the sanitary services inspected the hotel of "Burabay Hotel Management" LLP.

From the results of the research, sausage products with expired expiration date were identified.

"Burabay Hotel Management" LLP should be found guilty of committing an offense under part 2 of Article 425 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Republic of Kazakhstan and shall be subject to an administrative penalty in the form of a fine in the amount of 4,830,000 tenge to the state income," said the decision of the Burabay District Court.

According to the rating of Forbes magazine, the Rixos Borovoe hotel belongs to the well-known businessman Bolat Otemuratov.
