A track fitter at the "Yuzhnaya" station ("Bogatyr" department) fell from a height while working. This information was confirmed and clarified by the Health Department of the region, reported the national portal "Adyrna".
According to the department, a man born in 1974 was taken by ambulance from his workplace to the city hospital on July 18.
The man fell from a height of about 5 meters. The patient underwent a complex tomography of the brain, chest cavity, and pelvis urgently.
He was admitted to the intensive care unit after a joint examination by on-duty resuscitators and on-duty traumatologist.
Information about the condition will be given only to close relatives, said the medical institution.
Also, the Labor Department of the region has appointed an investigation into the accident.
