Kazakhstan will borrow 5.7 trillions tenge this year. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smayilov said this at the meeting of the expanded board of the Ministry of Finance, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
The head of the government warned that the main part of the debt in this direction should be obtained in tenge and from the domestic market.
"Deficit should be financed mainly by internal borrowing in national currency. In this way, we balance currency risks and develop the internal market.
Nevertheless, to finance the budget deficit, it is necessary to use all the potential of attracting funds, including access to foreign markets.
Work in this direction should be organized in such a way that there are no cash gaps during the implementation of the budget, and all debt indicators are at a safe level," said the Prime Minister.
