Turkish President Erdoğan came to Russia at the invitation of Putin

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Sochi at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was announced by TRT Haber, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.

With Erdogan, Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Donmez, Treasury and Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati, National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, Agriculture and Forestry Minister Vahit Kirisci, Trade Minister Mehmet Mus, Head of the National Intelligence Organization Hakan Fidan, Ismail Demir, head of the Turkish Defense Industry Administration, visited Russia.

Erdogan and Putin are expected to exchange views on current global and regional issues and bilateral relations between Turkey and Russia.

The possibility of hostilities in northern Syria will be a major topic on the agenda of the meeting. The meeting in Sochi will also discuss Turkey's initiatives and the grain corridor created after Russia and Ukraine signed the agreement.

The Russia-Ukraine conflict will also be on the agenda of the two presidents. Erdogan said he was still ready to contribute to the ceasefire.
