Mayor of Petropavl Bolat Zhumabekov has resigned, Adyrna correspondent reports.
"Today I have decided to resign. Over the three years, we have gone through many tests together: quarantine, the closure of the city, the events of January, many issues of housing and construction. During this period, all the teams of the city's ex.com. showed themselves professionally.
I would like to express my personal gratitude to colleagues, utilities, entrepreneurs, chairmen of condominiums / axes, deputies, members of the Public Council, media representatives, law enforcement, health and education officials, as well as all activists for their joint work, "he said.
