Today, December 3, Almaty hosted an international scientific-practical conference "Kazakh-Kyrgyz are from Alash" organized by the International Turkic Academy.
The large-scale event in the House of Friendship is dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the great poet Zhambyl Zhabayev, the common pride of the Turkic world, the immeasurable contribution to the strengthening of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz brotherhood, as well as the 120th anniversary of the birth of prominent sons of the Kyrgyz people Zhusup Abdrakhmanov and Kassym Tynystanov.
