Another firefighter was killed in an explosion in Zhambyl region, the national portal Adyrna reports.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the firefighter was treated in one of the hospitals in Nur-Sultan.
"A firefighter born in 1993 died in an explosion in Zhambyl region today. Earlier he was taken to the hospital of the Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics in Nur-Sultan, where he was treated," the statement reads.
Thus, the death toll from a recent explosion at an ammunition depot in Zhambyl region has reached 17 people. Among them are 10 civil defense officers, 6 servicemen of the Ministry of Defense and one military prosecutor.
