On March 3, at the Aktobe Regional Perinatal Center, a 42-year-old local resident gave birth to her 11th child, weighing 3680 grams and measuring 57 cm in height. This was reported by the Diapazon publication, according to Adyrna national portal.
According to the center’s director, Gulshat Temirbayeva, all of the woman’s children were born at this maternity hospital. The mother and newborn are in stable condition, but the baby has not yet been named.
The family’s eldest child is 17 years old, and in 2023, the woman gave birth to twins.
“Usually, mothers with many children come to us to give birth to their 5th or later children, but an 11th child is a first. We wish the mother and her children good health,” said Temirbayeva.
Doctors noted that the Aktobe Regional Perinatal Center sees about two sets of triplets born each year. This year’s first triplets were born on February 26. In total, approximately 8,000 babies are delivered at the center annually.
