Renowned writer Dulat Isabekov passed away at the age of 83. The Head of State sent a telegram of condolences to the family of the deceased, reports the national portal “Adyrna.”
The sad news was confirmed yesterday, February 21, by the Deputy Chairman of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan, Qasymkhan Begmanov.
In this regard, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a telegram of condolences to the writer’s family and close relatives.
“Dulat Isabekuly dedicated his honorable life to national literature and was a true noble figure who enlightened readers with his meaningful works.
He made great efforts to enrich the spiritual world of our people and expand the horizons of national prose, living an exemplary life. His powerful pen produced significant literary works and dramatic pieces that conquered world stages, promoting our sacred art of words worldwide.
Dulat Isabekuly left behind a vast literary legacy, and his bright image and cherished name will forever remain in the hearts of our people. May he rest in peace, and may his soul find paradise,” the telegram stated.
