The Asian Boxing Confederation (ASBC) has announced the winners of the Best of the Asians awards for 2024, reports the national portal Adyrna.
Kazakh boxers received awards in three individual categories:
•Sagyndyk Togambay was named the Best Boxer in Asia among adults.
•Temirlan Mukatayev was recognized as the Best Boxer in Asia under 22 years old.
•Torekhan Sabyrkhan was awarded as the Best Young Boxer.
In addition, the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation was named the Best National Federation in Asia for 2024.
It is worth noting that earlier this month, at the Asian Championships for adults held in Chiang Mai, Thailand, the Kazakhstan team topped the standings. The men’s team won five gold, four silver, and one bronze medal, while the women’s team secured five gold and five bronze medals, totaling ten medals overall.
