President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Kazakhstani citizens on Independence Day. This was reported on December 16 by the press service of Akorda, according to Adyrna.
“Dear compatriots! I congratulate you on Independence Day! This is the day when our people’s dream of freedom became a reality and our national traditions were revived. On this special occasion, we deeply understand the importance of always remaining faithful to the legacy of our ancestors and taking great responsibility for the future of our nation. Our cherished independence is a shared value and an invaluable treasure at the heart of all our achievements. There is nothing more precious than our independence. Protecting it as the apple of our eye is the sacred duty of every citizen,” he said.
The President also highlighted Kazakhstan’s position on the global stage.
“Today, Kazakhstan is confidently moving forward as a nation with high international prestige and a clear strategic vision. Our people have achieved this through hard work and harmonious unity. By preserving this blessed unity, as well as peace and stability in our society, we will overcome all challenges. Our independent country will continue to develop as a progressive and advanced state. I wish you all good health and great success! May our sacred homeland continue to flourish!” Kassym-Jomart Tokayev concluded.
