A woman who posted fake ads about selling car parts on the "Kolesa.kz" app has been arrested, reports the national portal "Adyrna," citing the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
She promised victims to send car spare parts to various cities. To conceal her criminal intentions, she sent them banking details and fake purchase agreements, receiving their money. Afterward, she stopped answering phone calls. In total, the convict defrauded 32 people, taking over 4.8 million tenge from them.
Her guilt was fully proven, and by court order, she was sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment. The material damage caused to the victims was recovered from the convicted individual. The verdict has come into legal force.
