Chess player from Akmola region Rashid Galimzhanov became the champion of the semi-final of the 1st Open Chess Cup SENAT OPEN, the press service of the Akmola regional maslikhat reports.
The Akmola region team, led by the chairman of the regional maslikhat Beibit Zhusupov, took part in the semi-final of the open chess cup in Pavlodar. Let us recall that the tournament was organized for the first time by the Kazakhstan Chess Federation under the auspices of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and in partnership with Freedoom Holding Corp.
In the semi-final of the "North" region, players from Akmola, Kostanay, North Kazakhstan and Pavlodar regions met at the chessboard. These are deputies of maslikhats of all levels, members of public councils and media representatives.
