The Kyrgyz special service stopped investigating the criminal case against the Kazakh businessman Vladimir Zhumanbayev, who was suspected of financing an organized criminal group. The National Security Committee of the country said about it today, June 20, "Adirna" reporter reports.

Currently, it is known that the top manager of "Kazakhmys Holding" LLP is in Bishkek.

"On June 19, the competent authorities conducted a search operation with the participation of Zhumanbayev. As a result, the charges against him were dropped. The pre-trial proceedings against the entrepreneur have been stopped," the NSC said in a statement.

It should be noted that on June 5, the National Security Committee of Kyrgyzstan issued an international arrest warrant for Vladimir Zhumanbayev, a Kazakh businessman and top manager of Kazakhmys Holding LLP. The billionaire was suspected of financing the work of Asanbek Kolbayev, a member of the Kyrgyz joint criminal organization. On the same day, the people of the holding announced that Vladimir Zhumanbayev was not related to the structures mentioned in the notification of the National Security Committee.

According to Forbes, Vladimir Zhumanbayev is on the 25th place in the list of the richest people in Kazakhstan. "Altyn Almas" JSC owns 20% of it. It also owns 20% of Karajira JSC, Benkala mining company, Ronson-2000 LLP and Vertex Holding.
