President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev noted that the scope of hockey sports in Kazakhstan has expanded significantly in recent years. According to the head of the state, the participation of domestic teams led by the capital club "Barys" in the KHL championship and other tournaments, as well as the successful performance of the national team in the world championships, will positively contribute to the widespread glorification of this sport. In particular, hockey schools and youth teams have increased in Kazakhstan, and competitions of various levels have been actively organized.
