The remaining 250 people in the village of Bersiev, Aktobe region, were transported by helicopter, reported the national portal "Adyrna" referring to the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
"On March 29, the crew of the Mi-8 helicopter of the Air Defense Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, under the command of Major J. O. Bekbauliyev, took part in the evacuation measures for the rescue of people who were in an emergency situation during the flood. "People from the region of Bersiev village, Oyil district, Aktobe region, were transported," the Ministry of Defense reported.
Before that, it was reported in the media that about 250 people were in the evacuation point of the school in the village of Bersiev. According to residents, the helicopter did not find a place to land for some time and took off again.
