Almaty airport is closed for visitors due to the weather. This was announced by the press service of the airport, the "Adyrna" national portal reported.
"Almaty International Airport has announced that it is temporarily impossible to carry out anti-icing operations due to bad weather. Flights from Almaty have been suspended until the weather improves," the airport reported.
It was also reported that Almaty airport will be closed for visitors from 19:00 local time. Almaty International Airport will resume operations as soon as the weather improves.
Now the airport is full of people, there is not even an empty seat.
