According to the instructions of the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, the draft law on mass media was withdrawn. Zhaparov's press secretary Askat Alagozov stated about this, "Adyrna" national portal reports.
Japarov made the decision to withdraw on March 7 after a meeting with media leaders.
"According to the results of the meeting, after listening to the information of the representatives of the media and taking into account the proposals received from them regarding this draft law, President Sadyr Japarov instructed to prepare this draft law," Alagozov said.
