The head of the state Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev congratulated the people of Kazakhstan on the beginning of the month of Ramadan, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
The President noted that the significance of the holy fast was special.
"This is the period when the society attaches maximum importance to unshakable values such as faith, honesty, compassion, and kindness. It is a time when the solidarity of the entire Muslim community increases and their brotherhood is clearly visible.
A country that firmly adheres to the continuity of religion and tradition can maintain peace, stability and peace and it can overcome any challenges without stumbling. I believe that the people of Kazakhstan will always live in spiritual harmony and take a firm step into the future," the president noted.
