Electricity tariffs will change in Almaty from March 1, reports the national portal "Adyrna".
As Asel Budeneyeva, Head of the Department of the Natural Monopolies Regulatory Committee of Almaty city, stated that due to the introduction of the "Single Buyer" model and changes in the average monthly salary, electricity tariffs will increase.
For example, the average sales tariff without VAT is 28 tenge/kWh.
Tariff for the public - 25.55 (+10%) tenge/kWh without VAT.
The tariff for legal entities is 29.73 (+11%) tenge/kWh without VAT.
The tariff for budget organizations is 32.73 (-10%) tenge/kWh without VAT.
The tariff for AMAT producers is 28 tenge/kWh without VAT.
Also, the tariff for producers of socially important food products will be 28 tenge/kWh without VAT.
And in turn, let's talk about the differentiated tariffs according to the volume of consumption:
first level - without VAT 23.16 tenge/kWh;
second level - without VAT 30.66 tenge / kWh;
third level - without VAT 38.33 tenge / kWh.
If the average consumption on a personal account is 208 kWh, citizens pay an average of 506 tenge more.
"Within the project of eliminating the differentiation of electricity tariffs, the department achieved an indicator of 8.7% (the difference between the average and the tariff for the population)," noted the head of the city department of the Regulatory Committee.
