Employees of the National Security Committee detained a resident of the Karaganda region on suspicion of propagating the ideas of terrorism at the workplace, reports the national portal "Adyrna" with reference to the press service of the National Security Committee.
"On January 3, 2024, the National Security Committee, with the agreement of the prosecutor's office and with the help of the police, detained a resident of Karaganda region on suspicion of promoting terrorism at the workplace and through social networks. ", the report says.
It was noted that physical evidence was obtained during the immediate investigation.
Pre-trial investigations are being conducted under part 2 of Article 256 of the Criminal Code.
According to part 1 of Article 201 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, other information is not subject to public disclosure.
