Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called on the parties to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict to resolve the issue by establishing a just peace. The Turkish leader said this at the press conference held in Ankara after the meeting with Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer, reports the reporter of "Adyrna" referring to haqqin.az.

"With the slogan 'There are no losers in a just world,' we call on all powerful players in the region to take responsibility for peace... We must avoid steps that lead to more bloodshed," Erdogan said.

The Turkish leader indicated that the Middle East problem needs to be resolved and that "the ultimate solution is the creation of an independent Palestinian state with its capital in East Jerusalem."
