The forest fire in the Abay region may increase instead of extinguishing, the reporter of "Adyrna" reported.
The fire spread over 60 thousand hectares is expected to intensify due to the temperature. This was announced by the new Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic Syrym Sharipkhanov.
"Due to the increase in temperature background and strong wind, the spread of the fire may increase, but we have enough forces and tools to isolate it," the minister said. Syrym Sharipkhanov also noted that fire activity was detected during the flight in the east direction, however, the specific tasks for extinguishing the fire were noted.
Since the start of the fire, 1017 water drainage works with a volume of more than 3000 tons have been carried out. Currently, the total area is 60 thousand hectares, of which 43 thousand hectares are burning
