The official opening of the sixth Summer Spartakiad of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Taraz.
Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Oralov, mayor of the region Nurzhan Nurzhigitov took part in the large-scale event held at the Central Stadium.
The video clip "Kone Taraz", which revealed the deep history of Taraz, and the performances of "Spirit of the Ancestors" by stormtroopers gave a special impression to the audience.
After that, the flag of the spartakiade was raised in the center.
