Turkestan region is flooded. This was announced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
According to reports, on February 2, yards and streets were flooded in the cities of Kentau and Turkestan and in Baidibek, Ordabasy and Sauran districts.
The incident started at 08:00 on February 2 due to snow melting and heavy rainfall.
Ex.com. of Turkestan region said that on February 2, water entered the streets and courtyards of houses in Babaykorgan, Abay, Ulgili settlements of Babaykorgan rural district of Sauran district.
Also, the yards of about 10 houses were flooded. The courtyard of the secondary school in the village of Babaykorgan was also flooded, and classes were suspended for schoolchildren.
