Vadim Khamraev, a citizen of Uzbekistan, said that he was beaten and sold into slavery by the policemen of Zhetysu region, and he sent a video to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and asked for help, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.

A video was circulated on social networks in which a foreign citizen said that local police officers of Karatal district beat him, extorted money, and then sold him to a farm for slavery for six sheep and 200 thousands tenge.

"My wife and my father-in-law told me that I was exiled, but I was in the hazenda. I ran away yesterday. I have two children. I am tired, I do everything there, I light the stove, dig vegetable gardens. They abuse me, blackmail me. Please help me get out of this difficult situation. I am begging you, dear president," said the man.

As evidence, he showed the scars on his body. Information was explained in a video in the press service of PD of Zhetysu region.

"On this fact, we inform you that a criminal case has been initiated under Article 362, Section 4 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, under the heading "Abuse of power or authority". management took special control," the agency said.
