President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev listened to the Prime Minister's report on the progress of repair works in Ekibastuz and he gave an order. This was announced by the press service of Akorda, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
The measures taken helped to get the city out of a difficult situation. Roman Sklyar, the First Deputy Prime Minister, who arrived in Ekibastuz, was tasked with prompt management of the works to restore heat supply to residential buildings. Works in this direction are nearing completion.
The Head of the State entrusted the Government with the task of carefully analyzing the mistakes made during the preparation of cities for the winter heating season. Also, the Government was instructed to make concrete decisions to fundamentally change the difficult situation in Ekibastuz and other settlements.
In addition, it is necessary to solve the problems related to the privatized energy assets and the liability of their owners. The President noted that all work of the Government and law enforcement agencies is under his personal control.
