A court verdict was issued against Kairat Satybaldi, the nephew of ex-president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. The court sentenced Satybaldi to 6 years of imprisonment, the national portal "Adyrna" wrote.
Kairat Satybaldi fully admitted his guilt and regretted what he had done.
"The property of Kairat Satybaldiuly should be confiscated, and he should be sentenced to six years' imprisonment with the deprivation of the right to hold certain positions for a period of 10 years," said Nurlan Bayakhmetov, judge of Baikonur District No. 2 Court of Astana.
