At the border of Karaganda and Pavlodar regions, the hay fields of Tortkol, Kyzyltau and Satpai villages were burned for three days. The fire stopped on the night of September 7. Belagash forest farm, Akore, Semizbugi in the Bukhar Zhyrau district were all burned, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
Five or six fire engines and about 200 volunteers were mobilized to extinguish the fire. Mayor of Bayanaul district also walked in the middle of the thick fire.
According to the villagers, the wind was blowing fast in those days. However, despite this, volunteers from the 40-year-old Zhayau Musa, Kanysh Satbaev, Murymtal, Tengdik villages mobilized and extinguished the fire. Village women prepared food and supported volunteers. Emergency vehicles did not leave the scene.
