The President offered condolences to the family of poet Israil Saparbay

The Head of State sent a letter of condolence to the family of Israil Saparbay, a poet and Honored Worker of Kazakhstan. This was announced by Akorda, reports “Adyrna.”

President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev expressed his condolences to the family and close relatives of Israil Saparbay, a prominent poet, composer, People’s Writer of Kazakhstan, and recipient of the “Parasat” Order, following his passing.

“Israil Saparbay dedicated his exemplary life to the sacred art of words and made a significant contribution to the development of our national literature. He left a

unique mark in Kazakh poetry and drama, and worked productively as a truly creative figure,” the telegram reads.

The President also emphasized that the poet’s patriotism was highly valued by the people.

“Readers not only appreciated the vitality of his works but also his deep patriotism. Israil Saparbay, who left behind a rich literary and cultural legacy, will always be remembered,” wrote Tokayev.

On July 18, Kazakh poet, playwright, and composer Israil Saparbay passed away at the age of 84.
