People’s Writer of Kazakhstan, prominent playwright, and talented composer Israil Saparbay has passed away at the age of 84. This was reported by the Deputy Chairman of the Writers’ Union, Qasymkhan Begmanov, on his Facebook page, according to “Adyrna.”
“A cold piece of news reached us early this morning. Around 4 a.m., the great poet, laureate of the Independent ‘Platinum Tarlan’ Award, People’s Writer of Kazakhstan, prominent playwright, and talented composer Israil Saparbay passed away at the age of 84. I received the sad news from his son, Nurlan Israiluly, who informed me that our esteemed elder passed away from a serious illness at his family home in Qaskelen, surrounded by his loved ones,” wrote Qasymkhan Begmanov.
