Kazakh boxer Natalya Bogdanova has advanced to the quarterfinals of the World Cup stage currently taking place in Astana, according to “Adyrna”.
Competing in the under-70 kg category, Bogdanova faced India’s Chanu Thokchom. The bout was intense and competitive, but Bogdanova gained the upper hand in the third round and secured her spot in the next stage.
It is worth noting that earlier, Nazym Kyzaibay (under 48 kg) and Anel Sakysh (under 54 kg) also advanced to the next round. Unfortunately, Ablaikhan Zhusipov (under 70 kg) has exited the tournament.
