Ruslan Zhaksylykov, the former Minister of Defense, has been appointed as the First Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This was announced by the press service of Akorda on June 30, reports Adyrna.

“By the order of the Head of State, Ruslan Fatikhuly Zhaksylykov has been appointed First Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” the statement said.

It is worth noting

that Zhaksylykov was relieved of his position as Minister of Defense on June 8. Following his dismissal, some media outlets reported that he had been detained in a temporary detention facility. However, Zhaksylykov denied these claims, stating that he was on vacation. A few days later, authorities opened a case against those who had spread false information about the alleged arrest of the ex-minister.
