Checkpoints on the Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan border were temporarily closed. This was announced by the Border Service of the National Security Agency, the reporter of "Adyrna" reported.

"From July 1, 2022, according to the information received from Uzbek colleagues, due to the failure of the information system, the transit of people, vehicles and cargo at the Daut-ata - Tazhen (automobile) crossing point between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan was temporarily suspended. According to this information, railway traffic in the direction "Karakalpakiya" - "Beineu" may be suspended. We will inform you about the Uzbek side resuming the operation of checkpoints," the agency explained.
