Kazakhstani boxer won a gold medal at an international tournament

One of the top boxers of the Kazakhstan national team, Saken Bibossynov, won a gold medal at the international tournament held in Khabarovsk, Russia, in memory of Konstantin Korotkov, reports the national portal “Adyrna.” This is the first gold medal for Team Kazakhstan at this tournament. Competing in the under 54 kg weight category, Bibossynov faced Russian boxer Denis Palshin in the final. After a tense three-round bout, he secured victory by unanimous decision of the judges, claiming the championship title and leaving his opponent with the silver medal. In the semifinals, Saken confidently defeated Uzbek boxer Faroizbek Dusmatov with a score of 5:0. It is worth noting that Faroizbek is the younger brother of two-time Olympic champion Hasanboy Dusmatov.
