Leaders of the radical Taliban movement that seized power in Afghanistan have shut down about 150 media outlets in Afghanistan. This was reported by Tolo News.

The suspended media outlets included publishing houses, radio stations, television stations, the media, and information centers that raised economic issues.

The Taliban, meanwhile, say they are pushing for new economic reforms. However, due to the Taliban's reckless actions, some media outlets were left without support and funding. Inakas was the only channel that raised socio-economic issues in Afghanistan on a large scale. Now the channel is under financial pressure and has stopped working.

International media organizations in Afghanistan are shouting that if the situation continues, other media outlets in Afghanistan will be shut down and the country will be closed.
