Kurbanbi Rakhmonova, the 64-year-old sister of the Tajik president, died yesterday, Adyrna reports quoting RIA Novosti.
According to the Ministry of Health, Rakhmonova contracted a coronavirus infection and was treated at № 5 clinical hospitals in Dushanbe.
He will be buried tomorrow in the southern Dangara region.
It's worth noting that on July 5, Uzbekbi Asadulloyeva, the wife of the President of Tajikistan, died from coronavirus symptoms.
