Kazakhstan will borrow 908 million euros from the Asian Development Bank. Minister of Finance Erulan Zhamaubayev has announced it at the plenary session of the Majilis today. According to him, these funds will cover the budget deficit for next year, the national portal "Adyrna" reports with reference to "Khabar 24".
That is, the money will be used to fight the coronavirus epidemic and restore the country's economy. This loan must be repaid in 2 installments over 10 years. The Minister also said that about 662 million euros will be received from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.
Chairman of the Majilis Nurlan Nigmatulin stressed the need to use these funds wisely.
