Starting from May 14, 2025, Kazakhstan will temporarily ban the export of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), propane, and butane, according to the “Adyrna” national portal.
This information was stated in the explanatory note of a draft order by the Minister of Energy, published on the “Open NLA” portal.
The restriction will last for six months and will apply to transportation by both road and rail.
“A six-month ban is being introduced on the export of liquefied petroleum gas (EAEU CN FEA code 2711 12 970 0), propane (code 2711 12 940 0), and butane (code 2711 13 970 0) from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan by road and rail transport,” the draft order says.
