The president began his speech with “Ramadan Mubarak” and expressed deep appreciation for the support he received from Muslim voters in the 2024 presidential election.
“I want to extend my special thanks to the hundreds of thousands of Muslim Americans who showed record-breaking support in the 2024 election,” Trump said.
The iftar gathering included representatives from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE, Qatar, Lebanon, Pakistan, and other nations. President Trump emphasized his commitment to strengthening partnerships with Muslim-majority countries.
Guests at the event highlighted the growing role of Muslims in American society and noted that hosting such a gathering during Ramadan fosters cultural and interfaith dialogue.
