Third Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Found in West Kazakhstan

Parts of an unidentified unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) have been discovered in the Zhanibek district of West Kazakhstan Region. The regional police department confirmed the finding, reports the Adyrna national portal.

“The West Kazakhstan Regional Police Department, together with relevant services, is conducting an investigation into the discovery of objects resembling UAV fragments in the Zhanibek district,” the department’s press service stated.

Police clarified that the object was found in an isolated area, far from residential zones. The circumstances of the incident are still under investigation.

The information first appeared on Telegram channels on March 24, 2025, at 21:15.

Local authorities, including district police officers, an operational-investigative team, perimeter security units, emergency services, and representatives from the local administration and prosecutor’s office, arrived at the scene.

This marks the third UAV-related incident in West Kazakhstan. Previously, a drone was found near Uyaly village, followed by a second case on March 18, when a three-meter drone crashed in Taskala district.
