The toll for traveling on the Big Almaty Ring Road will double. This was reported by informburo.kz, referencing the Ministry of Transport, according to the “Adyrna” national portal.
According to the new rates, the prices will increase as follows:
• For passenger cars – 0.14 MCI (Monthly Calculation Index);
• For buses with up to 16 seats and trucks with a load capacity of up to 2.5 tons – 0.16 MCI;
• For buses with up to 32 seats and trucks with a load capacity of up to 5.5 tons – 0.28 MCI;
• For buses with up to 32 seats and trucks with a load capacity of up to 10 tons – 0.32 MCI;
• For trucks with a load capacity of 10 to 15 tons – 0.4 MCI;
• For trucks with a load capacity of over 15 tons, including those with trailers – 0.44 MCI.
Accordingly, the prices for monthly and annual subscriptions will also double.
The Ministry of Transport explained that this change is being introduced to ensure timely payment of toll fees. In this regard, passengers who pay the toll within 15 days will receive a 50% discount.
Previously, the toll for traveling on the Big Almaty Ring Road had also increased in January 2024.
