An earthquake was recorded 220 kilometers from Almaty, reports the “Adyrna” national portal.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations registered the earthquake at 22:08. The epicenter was located within Kazakhstan, 220 kilometers northeast of Almaty.
The seismic stations network reported that the earthquake was felt at a magnitude of 2 in Zhetisu Region, Panfilov District, the city of Zharkent, and in Almaty Region, Uygur District, the village of Shonzhy.
No reports of casualties or damage have been received.
